SYMPOSIUM 2021 ON MINES AND THE ENVIRONMENT
THE 2021 SYMPOSIUM GOES VIRTUAL!
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect travel and major gatherings, we recognize that staying connected is more important than ever for members, exhibitors, sponsors, attendees and numerous partners. The decision to move forward with a virtual event offers a safe and innovative solution for the industry to access our programming and networking opportunities.
The Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), invite you to attend the virtual Symposium 2021 on Mines and the Environment, from June 14 to 16, 2021.
The Symposium is the result of a collaboration between the Research Institute on Mines and Environment (RIME) UQAT-Polytechnique, the Unité de Recherche et de Service en Technologie Minérale (URSTM), and many government actors and mining companies.
The objectives of the Symposium are to share recent knowledge and research developments and to discuss common practices to find solutions that reconcile resource exploitation and environmental protection.
